Meta AI, the advanced artificial intelligence assistant from Meta, has officially launched in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), bringing Arabic language support to millions of users across the region. This expansion marks a significant step in Meta’s commitment to making AI more accessible and useful for diverse global communities.

With this launch, users in countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, and several others can now seamlessly integrate Meta AI into their daily digital interactions. The AI assistant is embedded across popular platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger, allowing users to enhance their experiences with AI-driven recommendations, image generation, and real-time assistance.

Meta AI is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, requiring no additional downloads or sign-ups. Users can activate it by simply typing @Meta AI in their chats, unlocking a range of smart features such as answering queries, assisting with planning, and even generating creative content.

Currently, Meta AI offers functionalities like text and image generation, along with image animation. However, Meta has ambitious plans to enhance its AI toolkit further. Upcoming updates will introduce features like real-time dubbing for Reels, AI-powered image editing, and ‘Imagine Me’—a tool that creates personalized portraits based on user photos and prompts.

To celebrate the rollout, Meta has launched the ‘Elevating Every Moment’ campaign, partnering with prominent content creators from the region to showcase the creative potential of Meta AI. Additionally, an educational series on Meta Arabia’s Facebook page will guide users on how to craft effective AI prompts, ensuring they can maximize the benefits of the new technology in both personal and professional contexts.

With the latest expansion, Meta AI is now available in 42 countries and supports 13 languages, reaching nearly 700 million active users each month. Meta’s vision is to position Meta AI as the most widely used AI assistant globally by the end of the year, continuously evolving its capabilities to make digital interactions more efficient, engaging, and creative.

As AI continues to shape the future of communication, Meta’s expansion into the Middle East and Africa reinforces its commitment to providing inclusive, cutting-edge solutions that empower users across different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
